Uche

January 17, 2014 by Monique Ameyo in Love Is

ucheName: UcheHometown: Decatur, Georgia and Abiriba, NigeriaAge: 24Age You First Fell in Love: I've never been in love.Love is: Giving yourself completely, I think that's why I've never been in love because I wouldn't be able to recover [from losing it]. I have to be vulnerable enough to love you. Being African has definitely influenced my view on love and marriage. Growing up it's "Face your books! Face your books!" Then, you hit 24 and it's, "Where's your husband?!" There's no mention of love, we've made marriage a destination instead of a journey, one that's devoid of love. It's confusing.
